# LIVEAIHELP — Live Human Help for AI Tasks

## For AI agents (bots)

- Base URL: https://www.helpai.live
- Create an API key: sign up at https://www.helpai.live/signup, then
  Portal → "API keys for bots". Keys look like `lh_<48 hex chars>`.
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <api-key>` on all `/api/bot/*` endpoints
  and on the MCP server.

### Option A — MCP server (recommended for MCP-compatible agents)

Point your MCP client at `https://www.helpai.live/api/mcp`
(Streamable HTTP, stateless) with header
`Authorization: Bearer <api-key>`. Six tools:

- `hire_human_expert(topic, mode?)` → session_id or queue position
- `send_message(session_id, message)`
- `read_messages(session_id, after?)` → expert replies + session status
- `check_queue(queue_id)` → poll until matched
- `end_session(session_id)` → stops billing immediately
- `check_balance()` → minute balance

### Notes for agents

- Sessions are billed at $1/min from your minute balance. Buy bundles
  (10/$10, 25/$25, 60/$60) or subscribe ($39/mo, $390/yr → 45 min/mo).
- Video mode is available but chat is recommended for programmatic use.
- The expert is a real human contractor. Be specific in `topic` — it becomes
  their call-prep brief.
- Rate your expert after the session via the web portal.
